Introduction of E-waste Organization of China
(E-waste Comprehensive Utilization Work Committee )


E-waste Organization of China is a brunch institute of China Electronics Energy Saving Technology Association (CEESTA). It¡¯s a national non-profit organization, which gets support from the Ministry of Information Industry (MII), and has been registered in the Ministry of Civil Administration (MCA).


Objectives: jointly working for circular economy with both government and industry in China to promote recycling of e-waste for a sustainable future


Organizations: we welcome both organizational and individual members to join our venture. The committee of the organization consists of representatives from all member entities. The activities of our organization will be supervised by the MII and CEESTA.


Tasks: Supporting policy decision-making in e-waste management in China; Promoting international communication on both policy and technology issues in e-waste recycling among public and private sectors; Promoting the adoption of Extended Producer Responsibility principle in e-waste management policy; Promoting R&D activities and standardization of recycling processes; initiating take back programs; sharing information on recycling technology and market; providing consultancy as well as training services; preparing for future register platform for e-waste management in China; evaluating recycling projects as well as their technologies in China.
